India vs New Zealand Squad Team Player List | 2019



New Zealand have set up their strongest possible line-up for the ODI series against India starting next week in what will be their toughest exercise session ahead of the World Cup 2019.
Tom and Colin, who were rested during the 3-0 sweep against Sri Lanka, were named on Thursday in a 14-man squad for the first 3 games of the 5-match series which starts next Wednesday.
Captain Williamson and bowling spearhead Boult, who sat out the T20 against Sri Lanka last Friday, are back in the squad as is Mitchell who made the T20I after being sidelined by injury for Ten months.
India and New Zealand in ODI are ranked 2nd and 3rd in the world, and coach Gary Stead said the composition of the squad reflected World Cup planning while also giving themselves the best possible chance of winning the series against Kohli’s tourists.
“Our 2 main most important consideration have been to select and prepare a squad capable of winning what is shaping as a enormous series against India, and gathering as much information as possible ahead of the World Cup 2019” Stead said. “The New Zealand Team Batsman Tom Lathan and Colin Munro are experienced players in this format and will offer quality in their respective roles.”
