How can Pakistan reach the ICC World Cup 2019 semi-final?

England’s win over India has not only increased their odds of playing the ICC World Cup semi-finals but also minimised the chances for Pakistan Team and Bangladesh Team.
There are few matches left of the ICC World Cup 2019 league phase and the situation has become very interesting for teams to book their place in the semi-finals.
Sri Lankan’s Team has been eliminated from the World Cup after England’s victory on Sunday.
Australia (AUS) is the only team so far that has sealed its place in the semi-finals with fourteen points after 8 matches. Meanwhile, as many as 3 more teams have to qualify for the semi-finals out of the 5 contenders.
India is 2nd with 11 points and has 2 matches left. New Zealand is ranked 3rd with 11 points in the 8 matches, and England (ENG) is at 4th on the points-table with 10 points in 8 matches—both teams have 1 match left.
Similarly, Pakistan is ranked at the 5th position with 9 points in 8 matches while BAN and SL, after playing 7 matches, are ranked 6th and 7th with 7 and six points respectively.

The semi-final battle:
India has to win 1 of the remaining 2 matches for direct access to the semi-finals. Similarly India lose both of their remaining matches, they can still qualify for the semi-finals with better run-rate.
So, New Zealand required a victory but its next match will be with England, which will decide the fate of both teams—the winner of that match will qualify for the semi-finals.
Pakistan will have to defeat BAN qualify for the semi-finals and also it have to rely on the result of the match between England (ENG) and NZ.
If England beat NZ and Pakistan bea tthe Bangladesh, then the Pakistan team will qualify for the semi-finals. So, that if it does not happen then Pak & Eng both manage to win their last matches, then the decision to reach the semifinal between New Zealand and Pakistan will depend on run rate.
Bangladesh (BAN) is likely to go to the semi-finals if Bangladesh wins both of it’s remaining 2 matches, which one is with India and other with Pakistan, but in that case, England will have to lose their match against New Zealand (NZ).
The Sri Lankan (SL) team is out of the event while Afghanistan, South Africa (SA) , West Indies (WI) are already out of the tournament.
